TO CONNECT LOCAL AND METROPOLITAN CHURCHES AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR JOINT WORSHIP AND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES TO THE NEEDY

FACILITIES AND RESOURCES WERE USED TO ACCOMPLISH THE FOLLOWING: HELD WEEKLY CLASSES FOR TEACHING ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE FOR 80 INDIVIDUALS AND TO HELP OVER 40 STUDENTS WITH GED CERTIFICATE PREP CLASSES IN SPANISH,UTILIZING 23 VOLUNTEERS. HELD WEEKLY WHIZ KIDS AFTER-SCHOOL MENTORING MEETINGS TO TUTOR 20 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS ONE ON ONE FROM AN AT-RISK COMMUNITY, UTILIZING 20 VOLUNTEERS. ALSO PROVIDED BACK PACKS WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR MANY OF THE STUDENTS AT A LOCAL INNER CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. UTILIZED FACILITIES TO PROVIDE COMPUTER TRAINING TO ANY AND ALL INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN OUR PROGRAMS AND WORSHIP MUSIC TRAINING TO 100 INDIVIDUALS UTILIZING 75 VOLUNTEERS. FACILITATED OR PARTICIPATED IN OVER 200 CITY AND COMMUNITY MEETINGS EVENTS TO MINISTER TO MANY INDIVIDUALS, INVOLVING MORE THAN 500 VOLUNTEERS. THESE EVENTS WERE HELD WEEKLY, MONTHLY OR ANNUALLY. HELPED ORGANIZE AND PARTICIPATE IN THE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, MANAGING THE NATIVITY FLOAT IN THE CITY CENTER MALL FOR 5 WEEKS HOLDING MULTIPLE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES TOUCHING OVER 275,000 ATTENDEES UTILIZING APPROXIMATELY 200 VOLUNTEERS. WE ALSO PROVIED ASSISTANCE AND OFFICIATED 3 WEDDINGS AND 6 MEMORIAL SERVICES AS WELL AS HELD MEETINGS WITH OVER 30 CHURCHES TO DISCUSS INNER CITY ISSUES AND HOW TO UTILIZE PEOPLE AND RESOURCES TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL RESOLUTIONS.
