TO CONNECT LOCAL AND METROPOLITAN CHURCHES AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR JOINT WORSHIP AND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES TO THE NEEDY

HELD WEEKLY CLASSES FOR TEACHING ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE FOR 20 INDIVIDUALS, AND TO HELP OVER 20 STUDENTS WITH GED CERTIFICATE PREP CLASSES IN SPANISH, UTILIZING 10 VOLUNTEERS. PROVIDED ONLINE FORMAT FOR ESL STUDENTS FROM SEVERAL OTHER NATIONS. HELD WEEKLY WHIZ KIDS AFTER-SCHOOL MENTORING MEETINGS TO TUTOR 10 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS ONE-ON-ONE FROM AN AT-RISK COMMUNITY, UTILIZING 14 VOLUNTEERS. ALSO PROVIDED BACKPACKS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR STUDENTS FROM TWO LOCAL INNER-CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS. UTILIZED FACILITIES FOR THE RNO (WECAN) MONTHLY COMMUNITY MEETINGS AND BOD MEETINGS, PROVIDED WORSHIP MUSIC TRAINING TO 50 INDIVIDUALS UTILIZING 15 VOLUNTEERS, AND HELD BI-MONTHLY BIBLE STUDIES FOR 15 MEN. WE ORGANIZED MEETINGS WITH OVER 50 CHURCHES TO DISCUSS INNER-CITY ISSUES AND HOW TO UTILIZE PEOPLE AND RESOURCES TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL RESOLUTIONS. WE FACILITATED AND OFFICIATED 2 WEDDINGS AND 4 MEMORIAL SERVICES. FACILITATED OR PARTICIPATED IN OVER 150 CITY AND COMMUNITY EVENTS TO MINISTER TO MANY INDIVIDUALS, INVOLVING MORE THAN 500 VOLUNTEERS. THESE EVENTS WERE HELD WEEKLY, MONTHLY OR ANNUALLY. HELPED PROVIDE AND OVERSEE 75 VOLUNTEERS FOR THE NATIVITY FLOAT IN THE CHANNEL 9 PARADE OF LIGHTS, DOWNTOWN DENVER. 250,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED IN PERSON AND ANOTHER 250,000 ESTIMATED WATCHED ON TV. WE ALSO PROVIDED MUSIC FOR SEVERAL CITY EVENTS AND OUTREACHES THROUGHOUT THE DENVER AREA DURING THE HOLIDAYS, UTILIZING OVER 100 VOLUNTEERS AND ESTIMATE THOUSANDS OF ATTENDEES THROUGHOUT THE SEASON.
