THE PURPOSE OF THE COALITION SHALL BE TO PROMOTE INTERESTS, WELFARE AND COMMON GOOD OF NORTH CAROLINA TELEPHONE MEMBERSHIP COOPERATIVES AND TO DEAL BY LAWFUL MEANS WITH COMMON PROBLEMS AND CONCERNS OF ITS MEMBERS.

TO PROVIDE PUBLIC AWARENESS TO THE EFFORTS MADE BY NORTH CAROLINA'S TELEPHONE MEMBERSHIP COOPERATIVES TO PROVIDE MODERN COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES TO RURAL AREAS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION WILL ASSIST MEMBER COMPANIES IN ADVOCATING PUBLIC POLICY GOALS THAT WILL ASSURE THAT RURAL AREAS CONTINUE TO HAVE THE SAME STATE OF THE ART COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES AVAILABLE IN URBAN AREAS AT REASONABLY COMPARABLE PRICES.
