1. JUNIORS AND YOUTH CLUB PROGRAMS IN 2022 WE BEGAN OUR FIRST-EVER SPRING COMPETITIVE YOUTH CLUB PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM SERVED 138 PLAYERS ACROSS THE TRIANGLE. THIS PROGRAM WAS A WARMUP TO OUR SUMMER YCC SEASON. TEAMS WERE OPEN TO ANY MS/HS YOUTH WHO WANTED TO IMPROVE & COMPETE. HIGH-QUALITY PAID COACHES LED 2 MID-WEEK PRACTICES FOR 10 WEEKS. ALL TEAMS ATTENDED WEEKEND COMPETITIVE EVENTS INCLUDING 3 TOURNAMENTS. OUR COMPETITIVE YOUTH CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON SERVED 142 YOUTH. ALL TEAMS ATTENDED OUR SE SHOWDOWN TOURNAMENT TO COMPETE REGIONALLY. OUR ELITE TRAVEL TEAMS COMPETED USAUS YOUTH CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS (YCC). TU IS PROUD TO HAVE SENT TEAMS TO USAU'S YCC SINCE 2009.
YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS - TRIANGLE ULTIMATE PARTNERED WITH THE LOCAL PROFESSIONAL ULTIMATE TEAMS THE FLYERS AND THE RADIANCE, TO OFFER TWO WEEKS OF OVERNIGHT CAMPS BRANDED AS CAROLINA ULTIMATE FLIGHT SCHOOL. 108 FLIGHT SCHOOL CAMPERS WERE COACHED BY AN ELITE COACHING TEAM. TU CONTINUED TO COLLABORATE WITH LONGTIME PARTNERS LIKE CHAPEL HILL P& CARRBORO P&R, CFSL, ORANGE COUNTY, AND DPS TO OFFER QUALITY, AFFORDABLE, AND LOCAL CAMPS TO PLAYERS ACROSS THE TRIANGLE. WE SERVED OVER 380 YOUTH PLAYERS THROUGH OUR RECREATIONAL SUMMER CAMPS
ADULT LEAGUE PROGRAMS - TRIANGLE ULTIMATE CONTINUED TO OFFER HIGH-QUALITY AFFORDABLE PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO OUR ADULT COMMUNITY SERVING OVER 1380 ADULT PLAYERS THIS YEAR, A 20% INCREASE FROM 2021. IN SPRING, SUMMER, AND FALL WE REGULARLY OFFERED 8 WEEKS OF SEASONAL COED LEAGUES, MENS LEAGUES, WOMENS LEAGUES, BEGINNERS LEAGUES, AND BEACH LEAGUES, A SUMMER COMPETITIVE LEAGUE & HOLIDAY HAT TOURNAMENTS. REBOUNDING FROM THE IMPACT OF THE COVID PANDEMIC, WE RAN THREE SEASONS OF CORPORATE LEAGUE WITH A TOTAL OF 28 TEAMS THIS YEAR. THESE LEAGUES OFFERED NEW AND RETURNING PLAYERS A FUN ENGAGING OPPORTUNITIES TO PLAY AND SOCIALIZE WITH THEIR COWORKERS OUTSIDE OF WORK.
