THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO AID THE CITIZENS OF LINCOLN COUNTY WEST VIRGINIA IN DEVELOPING ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES. THE COUNTY POVERTY RATE AND LACK OF OPPORTUNITY CREATES A GENERATIONAL DEPENDENCE ON ASSISTANCE. BREAKING THE CYCLE OF POVERTY AND DEPENDENCE ON GOVERNMENT SOURCES WILL TAKE A CONCERTED EFFORT WITHIN THE COUNTY. THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND EMPLOYMENT WITHIN THE COUNTY WILL INCREASE WEALTH AND INDEPENDENCE.
