CONTINUED TO SUPPORT EFFORTS TO PROTECT AND EXPAND THE INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM PROCESS. COMMUNICATED WITH THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE NEED FOR AN OPEN AND ACCESSIBLE INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM PROCESS AND LEADERS WHO SUPPORT CITIZENS' RIGHT TO PETITION THEIR GOVERNMENTS. ALSO CONTINUED TO BUILD AN INFORMAL NETWORK AND VARIOUS BROAD-BASED COALITIONS TO SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT RESEARCHED AND IDENTIFIED PRO-INITIATIVE SUPPORTERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO PROVIDE A RESOURCE BASE.
