SPIRITHOUSE FELLOWS EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON IMPORTANT SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES SUCH AS VOTER REGISTRATION ECONOMIC INJUSTICE AND FOLK ART. THEY TEACH GRASSROOTS COMMUNITIES HOW TO DO RESEARCH. FELLOWS ENGAGE WITH AN INTERDISCIPLINARY CURRICULUM TO BROADEN THEIR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HOW PUBLIC POLICY DECISIONS INFLUENCE THE LIVES OF CITIZENS. THEY GAIN OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP THEIR ANALYTICAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.


THE RACIAL JUSTICE CAFES ARE SPIRITHOUSE'S EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM WHERE WE INVITE SPEAKERS HOLD DISCUSSIONS AND BRING COMMUNITIES TOGETHER TO DISCUSS ISSUES OF RACIAL ECONOMIC AND GENDER JUSTICE.


THIS SECTION PROVIDES THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND PLATFORMS REQUIRED FOR SPIRITHOUSE TO HOLD ZOOM SESSIONS WITH SPIRIHOUSE FELLOWS AND TO PROVIDE VIRTUAL RACIAL JUSTICE CAFE ACTIVITIES. WE ALSO USE THE PLATFORMS TO PUBLICIZE EVENTS.
