NOURISHING FAMILIES IS A FREE MARKET FOOD PANTRY AND CROCKPOT MEAL DELIVERY SERVICE, PROVIDED TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS FOOD SUPPORT. IN 2022, WE SERVED 45000 PEOPLE AT THE FOOD PANTRY AND WE DELIVERED 270 MEALS EACH WEEK TO FAMILIES WITH THE CROCKPOT MEAL PROGRAM. WE ALSO TEACH A 4 WEEK COOKING SERIES 4 TIMES PER YEAR "COOKING ON A BUDGET" 32 FAMILIES PARTICIPATED IN 2022.


OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE CAMP, AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMMING, ADULT PROGRAMS AND VARIOUS WORKSHOPS


CREATION CARE PROGRAM-TENDS TO THE ANIMALS ON THE FARM AND CREATES GROWING SPACES FOR FOOD PRODUCTION AND EDUCATION. BUILDS AND MAINTANS A FOOD FOREST DEMONSTRATING PERMACULTURE PRACTICES. SUPPORTS A LEARNING GARDEN USING RAISED BEDS. INSIDE THE GREENHOUSE, IT SUPPORTS AQUAPONIC AND HYROPONIC GROWING SYSTEMS, AS WELL AS VERMACULTURE. ALL THESE GROWING SPACES SUPPORT OUR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM WITH THE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT. WE ALSO LEAD VOLUNTEER GROUPS IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS, INVOLVING 2500 PEOPLE PER YEAR.
