LEGAL COUNSEL AIMED AT FCC RULE-MAKING PROCEEDINGS AND LEGISLATIVE ACTIONS INVOLVING THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF RADIO SPECTRUM USED FOR FLIGHT TESTING COUNSEL FOR CONSULTATIONS HELD WITH DEPT OF STATE, DEPT OF COMMERCE, DEPT OF DEFENSE AND THE NTIA. THE ADVICE AND GUIDANCE OF COUNSEL IS AVAILABLE TO THE ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP ON MATTERS OF MUTUAL CONCERN. THESE ACTIVITIES BENEFIT THE MEMBERSHIP, THE FLIGHT TEST COMMUNITY, MANUFACTURERS OF AIRCRAFT AND THEIR MAJOR COMPONENTS AND THE AVIATION INDUSTRY AS A WHOLE.


JOHNS HOPKINS APPLIED PHYSICS LAB CONDUCTS RESEARCH STUDIES VITAL TO THE PROTECTION OF THE SPECTRUM ALLOCATED TO THE AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY. RESEARCH IS ALSO CONDUCTED TO PREVENT AND CORRECT INTERFERENCE ISSUES AND IS OPEN TO MEMBER COMPANIES WITH COMMON INTERESTS.
