THE AGRICULTURAL TRADE PROMOTION PROGRAM (ATP) WAS CREATED IN 2018 TO HELP U.S. AGRICULTURAL EXPORTERS DEVELOP NEW MARKETS AND MITIGATE THE ADVERSE EFFECTS OF OTHER COUNTRIES' TARIFF AND NON-TARIFF BARRIERS


FOREIGN MARKET DEVELOPMENT (FMD) - PROMOTE AND STRENGTHEN THE GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS OF U.S. AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES, ADDRESS LONG-TERM FOREIGN IMPORT CONSTRAINTS, AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE MAINTENANCE OR GROWTH OF DEMAND FOR U.S. AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES.
