THE MISSION OF HILLEL AT UCLA IS TO BE THE HOME AWAY FROM HOME AT UCLA FOR ALL JEWISH STUDENTS THROUGH JEWISH LIFE, LEARNING, AND ISRAEL.

SHABBAT & HOLIDAY PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE WEEKLY SHABBAT EXPERIENCE (AVERAGE 180 PEOPLE FOR WEEKLY SHABBAT DINNER ON FRIDAY NIGHTS), HIGH HOLY DAYS, SUKKOT, PURIM, CHAI ON LIFE, HANUKKAH, TU BESHVAT.


ISRAEL PROGRAMS INCLUDE BRUINS FOR ISRAEL (BFI), BIPAC, ISRAEL LEARNING FELLOWSHIP, ISRAEL FEST (300), MISHELANU COMMUNITY BUILDING (INCLUDING HEBREW CONVERSATION HOUR) (25), ENGAGE EDUCATION SESSIONS, TAMID ISRAEL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, AND ISRAELI HOLIDAYS (MEMORIAL DAY, HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY).


OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE SOCIAL JUSTICE ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CHALLAH FOR HUNGER, BEARING WITNESS HOLOCAUST EDUCATION, YOM HASHOAH, PROGRAMMING SPECIFIC TO ACADEMIC YEAR (E.G.
