SEE SCHEDULE OTHE FOUNDATION'S MAIN PROGRAM IS MANAGING ENDOWMENTS FOR SFSU. THE FOUNDATION MANAGES OVER $138,000,000 IN ENDOWMENTS. A FEW OF THE ENDOWMENTS ARE:G & J MARCUS AWARDS FUND FOR EXCELLENCE IN FACULTY AND STUDENT RESEARCH WHICH SUPPORTS STUDENT AND FACULTY RESEARCH AND CREATIVE PROJECTS. SUPPORT IN THE AMOUNT OF $388,000 WHICH WAS SPENT ON STIPDENDS, AND FACULTY-SPECIAL CONSULTANTS. THE N NOBARI DISTINGUISHED CHAIR SUPPORTS THE CHAIR OF THE CENTER FOR IRANIAN DIASPORA STUDIES AT SFSU AND THE ACTIVITES OF THE CENTER. SUPPORT IN THE AMOUNT OF $244,000 WAS SPENT TO SUPPORT THE DIRECTOR SALARIES, AND SUPPLIES.IRAINIAN DIASPORA STUDIES INSPIRES INTERDISCIPLINARY INQUIRY AND EXPLORATION OF IRANIAN DIASPORA EXPERIENCE AND ITS IMPACT ON TRANSNATIONAL IDENTITY.
