THE ORGANIZATION IS TO BE A REFUGE FOR NONCOMPETITIVE, SOMETIMES INJURED RACEHORSES PROVIDING A PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT AND SKILLED HANDS TO ASSIST IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT, REHABILITATE OR RE-TRAIN AFTER RACING CAREER IS OVER. TO PLACE THESE HORSES IN EXPERIENCED LOVING HOMES THAT WILL CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION.

TWENTY-FIVE THOROUGHBRED HORSES WERE ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM. THEY RECEIVED MEDICAL ATTENTION AND ARE IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REHABILITATED AND RETRAINED FOR PLACEMENT.
