REVITALIZE MILWAUKEE TRANSFORMS COMMUNITIES BY PROVIDING FREE, CRITICAL HOME REPAIRS AND COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES TO LOW-INCOME, VETERANS, SENIORS, AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. SEE PAGE 2

REVITALIZE MILWAUKEE, INC. RM PRESERVES AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND TRANSFORMS VULNERABLE NEIGHBORHOODS THROUGHOUT MILWAUKEE AND WAUKESHA COUNTIES. IN 2021, RM COMPLETED 1,730 REPAIRS ON 287 HOMES, BENEFITING OVER 560 INDIVIDUALS. OF THOSE 1,730 REPAIRS, 383 WERE ACCESSIBILITY MODIFICATIONS, ALLOWING HOMEOWNERS TO REMAIN INDEPENDENT, AND 182 WERE EMERGENCY REPAIRS, COMPLETED IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS. OUR WORK LAST YEAR WAS COMPLETED WITH THE HELP OF OVER 5,900 VOLUNTEER HOURS AND 18 LOCALLY LICENSED, MINORITY CONTRACTORS. OUR HOMEOWNERS HAVE LIVED IN THEIR HOMES FOR AN AVERAGE OF 26 YEARS AND ARE AT RISK OF BECOMING HOMELESS OR PAYING UNAFFORDABLE COSTS TO LIVE IN AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY. TO MAKE SURE OUR HOMEOWNERS HAVE EVERYTHING THEY NEED TO LIVE SAFELY AND COMFORTABLY IN THEIR HOMES, WE PARTNER WITH 50 LOCAL AGENCIES THAT ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE LOW-COST SERVICES THAT WOULD OTHERWISE GO UNATTENDED.
