THE ALLIANCE FOR COMMUNITY MEDIA IS A NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION THAT ADVOCATES, PROMOTES AND PRESERVES THE RIGHT TO MEDIA TRAINING, PRODUCTION, DISTRIBUTION, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND EDUCATION IN SUPPORT OF DIVERSE COMMUNITY VOICES, THROUGH PUBLIC, EDUCATIONAL AND GOVERNMENT ACCESS CHANNELS AND OTHER FORMS OF MEDIA.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE - THIS IS ACM'S ANNUAL EDUCATION AND EXHIBITION EVENT HELD FOR THE COMMUNITY ACCESS INDUSTRY. THE EVENT INCLUDES EDUCATION BREAKOUT SESSIONS, PANEL DISCUSSIONS, AND IN-DEPTH WORKSHOPS AS WELL AS A TABLETOP EXHIBIT WHERE VENDORS IN THE INDUSTRY CAN DISPLAY THEIR PRODUCTS/SERVICES. DUE TO COVID, THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD VIRTUALLY IN 2022.
PUBLIC POLICY - COMMUNICATE WITH MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, FCC COMMISSIONERS AND THEIR STAFF TO DISCUSS FEDERAL LEGISLATION AND REGULATORY ISSUES AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE INDUSTRY.
