VARIETY ACCOMPLISHES ITS MISSION THROUGH PROGRAMS SUCH AS VARIETY AT PLAY, OFFERING INCLUSIVE, ACCESSIBLE ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY INCLUDING A CARNIVAL AND A HOLIDAY LIGHTS FESTIVAL. VARIETY PROVIDED SEVERAL ADAPTIVE ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMS DURING THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR, BENEFITTING OVER 1600 CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES.
VARIETY PROVIDES ASSISTIVE DEVICES TO CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES TO SUPPORT A HIGHER QUALITY OF LIFE AS WELL AS COMMUNICATION AND ENGAGEMENT AT HOME, SCHOOL AND THEIR COMMUNITY THROUGH ITS ADAPT MY WORLD PROGRAM. VARIETY PROVIDES UPON REQUEST COMMUNICATION ITEMS SUCH AS IPADS, SPECIALIZED SOFTWARE AND QUALITY OF LIFE ITEMS SUCH AS FEEDING POSITIONERS, HYGIENE AND CARE ITEMS ALONG WITH PPE.
VARIETY PROVIDES MOBILITY EQUIPMENT NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES THROUGH ITS KIDS ON THE GO PROGRAM. DURING THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR, VARIETY PROVIDED EQUIPMENT SUCH AS ADAPTIVE BICYCLES IN DIFFERENT STYLES THAT ALLOW CHILDREN WITH BALANCE ISSUES OR MOBILITY IMPAIRMENT A SAFE WAY TO EXERCISE AND SPEND RECREATIONAL TIME WITH FAMILY FRIENDS.
