EDUCATIONAL NONPROFIT DEDICATED TO OVERCOMING ECONOMIC STATUS AND SOCIAL SETTINGS- SEE SCH OTHE MARYLAND CENTER AT BOWIE STATE UNIVERSITY'S MISSION IS TO SERVE AS A RESOURCE AND ADVOCATE TO THE CITIZENS, INSTITUTIONS, AND COMMUNITIES IN MARYLAND. THE CENTER RAISES AWARENESS AND PROVIDES EDUCATION THAT ASSISTS MARYLANDERS IN OVERCOMING DISPARITIES ISSUES THAT INCLUDE HEALTH, EDUCATION, ECONOMIC STATUS, AND SOCIAL SETTINGS IN ORDER TO OPTIMIZE THEIR POTENTIAL WELL-BEING.OUR VISION IS TO BE AN ORGANIZATION THAT WILL OPTIMIZE THE POTENTIAL OF EVERY MARYLANDER TO BE PRODUCTIVE AND HEALTHY CITIZENS. WE WILL STRIVE TO IMPROVE COMMUNITY VITALITY BY SUPPORTING AND IMPROVING INNOVATIVE AND EFFECTIVE PROGRAMS, POLICIES, AND STRATEGIES. MARYLAND STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION PROGRAMS:TO CREATE A COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER THAT PROVIDES STUDENTS WITH ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES DESIGNED TO COMPLEMENT THEIR REGULAR ACADEMIC PROGRAM.


PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS:TO PROMOTE THE DANGERS OF CIGARETTE SMOKE, DRUG, AND ALCOHOL USE AND ITS HEALTH CONCERNS TO RESIDENTS OF VARIOUS MARYLAND COUNTIES, INCLUDING PRINCE GEORGES, FREDERICK, GARRETT, AND OTHER COUNTIES.
