THE MISSION OF THE BOGGS EDUCATIONAL CENTER PROJECT TEAM IS TO PROVIDE FOR THE ENRICHMENT AND BETTERMENT OF THE CHILDREN IN THE EAST SIDE NEIGHBORHOODS OF DETROIT AND TO RESEARCH AND DEVELOP EFFECTIVE YOUTH PROGRAMMING.

THE BOGGS EDUCATIONAL CENTER PROJECT TEAM SUPPORTED THE JAMES AND GRACE LEE BOGGS SCHOOL DURING THEIR 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR INCLUDING OVERSIGHT AND FUNDING FOR SCHOOL BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS, DEVELOPING A GARDEN AND HEALTHY EATING AND SNACK PREPARATION PROGRAM, INITIATING A COMMUNITY PARTNERS PROGRAM, AND ENGAGING LOCAL ARTISTS AND NEIGHBORS IN PROVIDING ARTS AND TRADE ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR STUDENTS.
