GIRLPARTS FEST: USING ART TO CREATE AWARENESS OF OVARIAN CANCER, NORMALEAH OVARIAN CANCER INITIATIVE (NORMALEAH) PRESENTED ITS SECOND GIRLPARTS FEST IN CLEVELAND, OHIO. IT INCLUDED LIVE MUSIC FROM THREE BANDS AND A DOZEN VISUAL ARTISTS.


BEAT THE BIG O CAMPAIGN: NORMALEAH DISTRIBUTES SYMPTOM CARDS AT HEALTH FAIRS AND WOMENS EVENTS, MEDICAL FACILITIES, AND BUSINESSES WITH A PRIMARILY FEMALE CLIENTELE. ABOUT 50,000 BEAT SYMPTOM CARDS AND 3,000 BREAST2BELLY BOOKMARKS WERE DISTRIBUTED AND THE ORGANIZATION SPOKE WITH MORE THAN 500 WOMEN THROUGH THEIR SISTERLY ADVICE EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS.


RULE OUT! OVARIAN CANCER EARLY DETECTION PROJECT: NORMALEAH CREATED NEW VIDEO FOOTAGE FOR A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION. THE PROGRAM WAS PRESENTED AS A CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM TO TWO GROUPS OF HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS IN ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS.
