THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF SAN BERNARDINO'S CLINIC PROVIDES LOW COST (NO COST TO THOSE UNABLE TO PAY) SPAY & NEUTERING SERVICE. WE ALSO PROVIDE A FULL RANGE OF VACCINATIONS FOR DOGS AND CATS AS WELL AS OTHER SERVICES TO KEEP ANIMALS HEALTHY. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 7,396 SURGERIES WERE PERFORMED. 33,350 VACCINATIONS WERE GIVEN, 5,219 TREATMENTS WERE PREFORMED AND 2,497 EUTHANASIA WERE PERFORMED. TOTAL NUMBER OF ANIMALS SERVED: 49,043.


THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF SAN BERNARDINO INVESTIGATES REPORTS OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS AND RESCUES ANIMALS IN DISTRESS. COMPLAINTS INVESTIGATED DURING THE FISCAL YEAR TOTALED OVER 997.


THE SOCIETY'S PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED, CREDENTIALED HUMANE EDUCATION TEACHER PROVIDES CLASSROOM PRESENTATIONS TO ALL GRADE LEVELS AT LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS. THE GOALS OF THE PROGRAM ARE TO TEACH COMPASSION AND RESPECT FOR ALL LIVING CREATURES, TO TEACH PROPER CARE OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS, AND TO PROTECT WILDLIFE AND THE ENVIRONMENT. THE HUMANE SOCIETY VIRTUALLY VISITED 140 CLASSROOMS AND VISITED 5 CLASSROOMS IN PERSON.
