THE SECOND MILE CENTER IS A SMALL, FAITH BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING JOBS, JOB TRAINING, LIFE SKILLS TRAINING AND CHARACTER TO INNER CITY POOR, CHALLENGED BY ADDITIONS, LACK OF EDUCATION, CRIMINAL BACKGROUND, ETC. DURING 2023 APPROXIMATELY 15 ADULTS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAMS.

THE HIRING AND TRAINING OF THE TARGETED GROUP DESCRIBED IN III #1. OUR MAIN EXPENSE IS WAGES AND RELATED COST OF GIVING THEM EMPLOYMENT AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET BACK ON THEIR FEET. THOSE EXPENSES ARE THEIR WAGES, TAXES, INSURANCE AND RELATED BENEFITS (TOTAL ALL EXPENSES $454,250.94). WAGES AND BENEFITS PAID TO THE DIRECTOR AND BUSINESS MANAGER ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM EXPENSES RECORDED AT THE TOP OF THIS SECTION.
