THE PLAN IS AN EMPLOYEE WELFARE BENEFIT PLAN COVERING SUBSTANTIALLY ALL ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES OF FULTON FINANCIAL CORPORATION (THE CORPORATION OR THE COMPANY) AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES. THE PLAN IS SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT INCOME SECURITY ACT OF 1974 (ERISA). THE PLAN PROVIDES MEDICAL, VISION, DENTAL, AND PRESCRIPTION DRUG BENEFITS, FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS, AS WELL AS LIFE BENEFITS, DISABILITY BENEFITS, AN EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, AND A WELLNESS PROGRAM COVERING ALL FULL AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES OF THE CORPORATION SCHEDULED TO WORK AT LEAST 30 HOURS PER WEEK AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, AS OF THE FIRST OF THE MONTH FOLLOWING 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT.
