PHILADELPHIA'S MAGIC GARDENS (PMG) INSPIRES CREATIVITY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT BY EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT FOLK, MOSAIC, AND VISIONARY ART. PMG PRESERVES, INTERPRETS, AND PROVIDES ACCESS TO ISAIAH ZAGAR'S UNIQUE MOSAIC ART ENVIRONMENT AND HIS PUBLIC MURALS. KEY ACTIVITIES ARE TOURS, ART LESSONS AND EXHIBITIONS.

DUE TO COVID, PMG WAS CLOSED FROM JANUARY 1-MARCH 31, 2021. WE REOPENED AND MAINTAINED REDUCED VISITOR CAPACITY ALL YEAR. WE DID NOT PRODUCE THE MAJORITY OF OUR NORMAL CORE PROGRAMMING DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS. THE ONLY PROGRAMMING WE PARTICIPATED IN WAS REDUCED CAPACITY FOR SELF-GUIDED VISITATION AND GROUP TOURS, AND A HANDFUL OF EVENTS THAT COULD BE HELD EITHER VIRTUALLY OR WITH REDUCED CAPACITY OUTDOORS.
