DIRECT INCENTIVES SUCH AS COMPETITIVE EVENTS ARE USED TO ENLIST THE INTEREST OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN AGRICULTURE AND TO EDUCATE THEM IN THE NEWEST AND BEST TECHNIQUES OF FARMING AND LIVESTOCK RAISING.
