APFC PROVIDES YOUTH-BASED PREVENTION INITIATIVES AND COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR HUMAN SERVICE, HEALTHCARE, AND LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSIONALS. PROGRAM ATTENDEES ARE EMPOWERED WITH PRACTICAL INFORMATION ON HOW TO SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY SUPPORT VICTIMS WHO MAY BE CLIENTS, EMPLOYEES, STUDENTS, COLLEAGUES, PATIENTS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, OR FAMILY. APFC CONDUCTS ITS PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY.

POWERBACK, A TEEN DATING ABUSE PREVENTION INITIATIVE THAT REACHES HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, FACULTY, COUNSELING STAFF, AND PARENTS, GUARDIANS, AND CAREGIVERS; ALL COMPONENTS PROVIDED VIA ZOOM WEBINARS DUE TO COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES; WE SUPPLIED 30 MEETINGS, CERTIFIED TEN PEER LEADERS, HELD SIX "REMOTE" OUTREACH EVENTS AND PROVIDED 13 COUNSELING SESSIONS FOR TEEN VICTIMS.


PREP (POLICE RESPONSE ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM) IS A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES VICTIM-IMPACT TRAINING FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSIONALS. CONDUCTED 20 WEBINARS REACHING 242 POLICE OFFICERS FROM 50 DEPARTMENTS IN 18 COUNTIES IN NEW JERSEY.


DV-SOS (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - SUPPORT ON SITE) PROVIDES OUTREACH PRESENTATIONS (AND CRISIS INTERVENTION, IF NEEDED) TO STAFF AND CLIENTS OF SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES. CONDUCTED 48 WEBINARS REACHING 680 PARTICIPANTS FROM 25 SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS IN NJ; 44% OF WHOM IDENTIFIED AS VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
