THE BSA IS KNOWN BY AMERICA'S FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES AS A RESOURCE FOR LEADERSHIP, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT OUR COUNTRY'S YOUTH.IN ALL ACTIVITIES, EMPHASIS IS PLACED UPON THE PRACTICE IN DAILY LIFE OF THE PRINCIPLES OF THE SCOUT OATH AND THE SCOUT LAW, WHICH REMAIN UNCHANGED SINCE THE FOUNDING OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA IN 1910. SCOUT OATHON MY HONOR I WILL DO MY BEST TO DO MY DUTY TO GOD AND MY COUNTRY AND TO OBEY THE SCOUT LAW; TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE AT ALL TIMES; TO KEEP MYSELF PHYSICALLY STRONG, MENTALLY AWAKE, AND MORALLY STRAIGHT.SCOUT LAWA SCOUT IS:TRUSTWORTHY. GENERAL PROGRAM - TO PROMOTE THE SCOUTING PROGRAM - THE ABILITY OF YOUTH, YOUNG MEN & WOMEN TO DO THINGS FOR THEMSELVES AND OTHERS; TRAINING THEM IN SCOUTCRAFT, CITIZENSHIP, LEADERSHIP, SELF-ESTEEM, AND PERSONAL FITNESS. APPROXIMATELY 5,300 SERVED. PROGRAM GRADUALLY RETURNED TO IN-PERSON FORMAT AS STATE-IMPOSED RESTRICTIONS RELATED TO THE NOVEL CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC WERE EASED.


CAMPING - TO PROMOTE THE BASIC PURPOSE OF THE SCOUTING MOVEMENT BY PROVIDING AN OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT WHERE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN CAN EXPERIENCE THE BASIC VALUES OF THE PROGRAM. APPROXIMATELY 2,500 SERVED. CAMPING GRADUALLY RETURNED TO IN-PERSON FORMAT AS STATE-IMPOSED RESTRICTIONS RELATED TO THE NOVEL CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC WERE EASED.


ACTIVITIES - TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY WIDE SUPPORT STRUCTURE TO ASSIST ALL VOLUNTEER ADULT LEADERS IN PROVIDING MEANINGFUL SPECIAL EVENTS THAT INSPIRE AND EDUCATE SCOUTS BEYOND THE RESOURCE OF THE LOCAL UNIT. APPROXIMATELY 3,500 SERVED. ACTIVITIES GRADUALLY RETURNED TO IN-PERSON FORMAT AS STATE-IMPOSED RESTRICTIONS RELATED TO THE NOVEL CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC WERE EASED.
