BRANCH EVENTS, OFFERED ON A MONTHLY BASIS, INCLUDED TOPICS RELEVANT TO OUR MISSION TO ADVANCE EQUITY FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS. SOME EXAMPLES: TALK ON NINA ALLENDER, SUFFRAGE CARTOONIST; VISIT WITH CEO AND PARTICIPANTS IN PROSPER ROCHESTER, A SERVICE PROGRAM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE; TALKS BY CEOS OF HILLSIDE AND ROCHESTER EDUCATION FOUNDATION. THE BRANCH SPONSORED A COLLEGE EXPLORATION DAY WITH THE YOUNG WOMEN'S COLLEGE PREP CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL HOSTING ABOUT 100 STUDENTS AND MENTORS. MEMBERS OF THE BRANCH PARTICIPATED IN THE AAUW STATE CONFERENCE, AND THE CONVENTION DAYS CONFERENCE IN SENECA FALLS.
