THE MISSION OF THE MITSUBISHI CORPORATION FOUNDATION FOR THE AMERICAS (MCFA) IS TO PROMOTE ENVIRONMENTAL CAUSES THROUGHOUT THE AMERICAS IN THE BROADEST SENSE, WHICH ENCOMPASSES BOTH THE PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTS IN WHICH WE LIVE. IN FURTHERANCE OF OUR MISSION WE SUPPORT A WIDE RANGE OF PROJECTS IN THE FOLLOWING FOUR CATEGORIES: BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE, AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION. IN 2023, GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO SUPPORT THE MISSION OF SIX EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK WITH ENVIRONMENTAL CAUSES.
