THE PURPOSE OF THE BRONXVILLE WOMEN'S CLUB, INC., SHALL BE TO BRING TOGETHER ALL WOMEN AND MEN INTERESTED IN THE WELFARE OF THE VILLAGE OF BRONXVILLE AND TO PROMOTE SUCH WELFARE; TO FOSTER A GENERAL PUBLIC AND DEMOCRATIC SPIRIT IN THE COMMUNITY, AND TO TAKE SUCH ACTION AS FROM TIME TO TIME MAY BE DEEMED EXPEDIENT TO THAT END; TO FORM A RECOGNIZED CENTER FOR CIVIC LIFE OF THE VILLAGE AND TO MAINTAIN A CLUB HOUSE OT CLUB ROOM FOR THE USE AND ENJOYMENT OF THE MEMBER; AND BY SUCH OTHER MEANS AS SHALL BE SUITABLE AND EXPEDIENT TO CARRY OUT THE OBJECT OF THE CLUB.
