THE BOSTON SOCIETY OF ARCHITECTS ADVANCES ARCHITECTURE BY SERVING THE GREATER BOSTON ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN COMMUNITY THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL NETWORKS, COMMUNITY-ORIENTED PROGRAMS, AND INNOVATIVE TOOLS THAT ADDRESS CLIMATE CHANGE AND SYSTEMIC INEQUITY IN SOCIETY, AS WELL AS IN THE ARCHITECTURAL FIELD.

KNOWLEDGE COMMUNITIES - THE BOSTON SOCIETY OF ARCHITECTS HAS NEARLY 50 KNOWLEDGE COMMUNITIES THAT ARE DYNAMIC FORUMS FOR MEMBERS TO NETWORK, SHARE IDEAS, AND HOST PROGRAMMING IN CONJUNCTION WITH NOT ONLY ARCHITECTURE PROFESSIONALS, BUT ALSO THE BROADER GREATER BOSTON COMMUNITY. THESE GROUPS FOCUS ON PROMOTING A HEALTHIER, INCLUSIVE, AND IMPACTFUL PROFESSION BY FOSTERING CONVERSATIONS AND SPURRING ACTION ABOUT SOCIAL IMPACT, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, AND DESIGN EXCELLENCE.


PROGRAMS AND EVENTS - A HOST OF PROGRAMMING DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE BOTH WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE ARCHITECTURAL PROFESSION, INCLUDING THEMED SYMPOSIUMS, INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATIONS, COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS, AND CHARRETTES ALLOWS LICENSED ARCHITECTS TO EARN IMPORTANT CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS AND OTHERS TO ENGAGE MEANINGFULLY WITH ARCHITECTURE AND ITS RELATED DISCIPLINES.
