THIS WORK IS PRIMARILY FOCUSED AT KIWOKO HOSPITAL AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES WHICH ARE LOCATED IN A RURAL AREA NORTH OF THE CAPITAL CITY OF KAMPALA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COUNTRY

MATERNAL NEWBORN CHILD HEALTH - SAFE BUBBLE CPAP. ADARA DEVELOPMENT IS WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER GLOBAL HEALTH LEADERS ON PROJECTS TO IMPROVE NEWBORN SURVIVAL. ONE OF THESE PROJECTS IS THE SAFE BUBBLE CPAP PROJECT WHICH WILL ADDRESS THE LACK OF ACCESS IN LOW-RESOURCE SETTINGS TO SAFE AND AFFORDABLE TREATMENT FOR RESPIRATORY DISTRESS SYNDROME - THE MOST COMMON CAUSE OF DISEASE AND DEATH FOR BABIES BORN BEFORE 34 WEEKS GESTATION.
