THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS FOUR PROGRAMS PER YEAR OF SYMPHONIC MUSIC TO THE GENERAL POPULATION FREE OF CHARGE. IN ADDITION THE ASSOCIATION HAS A CHILDREN'S CONCERT PROGRAM TO INTRODUCE LOCAL SCHOOL CHILDREN TO MUSIC APPRECIATION, AS WELL AS PROGRAMS SUPPORTING INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC EDUCATION IN THE SCHOOLS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL YOUNG ARTIST COMPETITION WHICH PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO TOP PERFORMERS. YOUNG ARTIST COMPETITION WINNERS ARE INVITED BACK TO PERFORM AS SOLOISTS WITH THE SYMPHONY.
