RESEARCH, COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND EDUCATION ON POLICIES, INCLUDING PROJECTS THAT PROMOTE GROWTH AND PRESERVATION OF OPEN SPACE, CLEAN AIR AND WATER, MITIGATING CLIMATE CHANGE AND PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE HABITAT.


DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMUNITY URBAN FOOD FOREST TO DEMONSTRATE HOW FOOD PRODUCTION, WATER MANAGEMENT AND TREE CANOPIES REDUCE IMPACTS OF CLIMATE. NOT ONLY WILL THE CURE PROJECT GROW HEALTHY PRODUCE TO BE DONATED TO LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES, IT WILL OFFER PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS ABOUT RESILIENT AGRICULTURE AND CLIMATE WHILE ADVANCING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. CURE IS WORKING WITH LOCAL WATER AGENCIES, HIGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO EXPAND THIS DEMONSTRATION PROJECT IN 2024 AND BEYOND.


RESEARCH AND WRITING OF A NON-FICTION HISTORY BOOK ABOUT THE CHINESE CONTRIBUTION TO THE EXPANSION OF WATER INFRASTRUCTURE, RAILROADS AND CITRUS INDUSTRY IN THE 1800S LEADING TO THE ELIMINATION OF THE RAILROAD MONOPOLY AND ECONOMIC EXPANSION IN INLAND CALIFORNIA.
