COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: ADMINISTERS AND DIRECTS THE "PUBLIC ALLIES,LOS ANGELES"PROGRAM WHICH IS JOINTLY SPONSORED BY AMERICORPS AND FOUNDATIONS, TRAINS YOUNG COMMUNITY LEADERS 18-30 YEARS OLD THROUGH JOB PLACEMENTS IN NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, COMMUNITY COLLEGE COURSES, RETREATS, TRAINING SEMINARS AND SERVICE LEARNING PROJECTS, DEVELOPS LEADERSHIP COUNCILS, BUSSINESS ASSOCIATIONS AND PARENT GROUPS IN TARGETED AREAS OF SOUTH LOS ANGELES, ADMINISTERS A YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM WITH LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS AGES 18-24 PROVIDING WORKSHOP TRAININGS IN JOB
