THE MISSION OF THE ALHAMBRA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT AND ENHANCE THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS OF THE ALHAMBRA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. AEF IS THE PARTNER OF THE DISTRICT, AND THE ONLY NONPROFIT GROUP THAT PROVIDES PROGRAMMING AND ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO BENEFIT ALL 18 SCHOOLS AND ALL OUR STUDENTS,K-12.

THE FOUNDATION SPONSORED A SUMMER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM FOR ALHAMBRA SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS. WE WORKED TO CREATE A PROGRAM APPROPRIATE FOR MEETING THE NEEDS OF OUR K-8 AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. THE SUMMER SCHOOL OFFERED CLASSES THAT WERE ACADEMICALLY CHALLENGING AND CAN BE USED TO MEET HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ALHAMBRA SCHOOL DISTRICT. SOME CLASSES MEET UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AND CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS AS WELL. WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 750 STUDENTS OVER A SIX WEEKS SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM.


KEIKI CAMP - A PAID CHILD CARE SERVICE IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ALHAMBRA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF ALHAMBRA. - SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES TK-8 WITH THEIR DISTANCE LEARNING AND COMPLETION OF THEIR WORK- ONLINE ACCESS- HOMEWORK HELP- 10:1 STUDENT-TO-STAFF RATIO PER CLASS- PROVIDE MEALS FOR STUDENTS- AFTERNOON RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING ARTS & CRAFTS, GAMES, PHYSICAL ACTIVITES, OUTDOOR EVENTS AND SNACKS
