ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE:THREE DAYS OF SESSIONS AND EXHIBITIONS AT WHICH MEMBERS OBTAIN CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS REQUIRED FOR MAINTENANCE OF STATUS OF REGISTERED DIETITIONS NUTRITIONISTS.


BULLETIN NEWSLETTERS AND MEDIA: MEMBERS RECEIVE EMAIL NEWSLETTERS (3-5 TIME PER YEAR). LEGISLATIVE ACTION ALERTS ARE ALSO EMAILED TO THE MEMBERSHIP ALONG WITH OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION. VIA SOCIAL MEDIA (FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER) AND THE NEWSLETTERS, MEMBERS ARE KEPT ABREST OF ASSOCIATION EVENTS, PROVIDED INFORMATION ABOUT GOALS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS, AND EDUCATED ABOUT VARIOUS TOPICS.


FALL LEADERSHIP MEETING: STATE DISTRICT LEADERS AND COUNCIL MEMBERS ATTEND A LEADERSHIP AND OPERATIONAL PLANNING WORKSHOP. A MOTIVATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY IS PROVIDED ALONG WITH BREAKOUT SESSIONS FOR EACH GROUP TO REVIEW THE PLANS FOR THE YEAR'S EVENTS, HIGHLIGHT SUCCESSES AND CHALLENGES FROM THE PRIOR YEAR AND MECHANISMS FOR INCREASED EFFICIENCY.
