THE FUNCTION OF THE PCC IS TO SEEK AND TRANSMIT AN UNDERSTANDING ABOUT PSYCHOANALYSIS AND THE PSYCHOANALYTIC TREATMENT.A) EDUCATING AND TRAINING PROFESSIONALSB) PROMOTING RESEARCH IN PSYCHOANALYSISC) PROVIDING CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMSD) MAKING LOW-FEE PSYCHOANALYSIS AND PSYCHOTHERAPY AVAILABLE TO THE COMMUNITYE) BY WORKING WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AS DIRECTED AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD

(A) KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE WAS GAINED BY VARIOUS PRACTITIONERS TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 1500 PARTICIPANTS THROUGH THE ORGANIZATIONS CONTINUING EDUCATION AND EXTENSION PROGRAMS. THROUGH THESE EFFORTS THE INFORMATION PROVIDED WAS DOCUMENTED AND SHARED WITH OTHER MEMBERS OF THE MENTAL HEALTH COMMUNITY
(B) THE ORGANIZATION'S POST-SECONDARY DEGREE PROGRAM CONTINUES ITS ACTIVITIES
(C) ADDITIONALLY THE ORGANIZATION'S CLINIC PROVIDED LOW-FEE PSYCHOANALYTIC SERVICES AND PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY TO OVER 200 PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY WHO WOULD NOT OTHERWIDE BE ABLE TO AFFORD THE TREATMENT.
