SCHOLARSHIPS: 14 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED TO PROMISING STUDENTS FROM 10 UNIVERSITIES. THEY DEMONSTRATED NEED FOR ASSISTANCE AND COMMITMENT TO SERVE AS OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS. AMOUNTS GIVEN: $2,000 - 1 STUDENT, $1,500 - 12 STUDENTS, $1,000 - 1 STUDENT


RESEARCH: TWO RESEARCH GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO CALIFORNIA OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS TO STUDY ASPECTS OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY TREATMENT. THE APPLICANTS WERE CHOSEN THROUGH A RIGOROUS SELECTION PROCESS. THEY PRESENTED THEIR RESULT THROUGH POSTERS AND PRESENTATIONS. AMOUNTS GIVEN: $4,500 AND $1,300


TRAINEE-SHIPS: FIVE TRAINEE-SHIPS WERE GIVEN TO STUDENTS FROM FIVE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT PROGRAMS. THEY DEMONSTRATED NEED FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND COMMITMENT TO SERVE AS OT ASSISTANTS. AMOUNT GIVEN TO EACH: $500.00
