SCHOLARSHIPS - 13 WERE GIVEN AT $2,000 EACH.
RESEARCH: THREE RESEARCH GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO CALIFORNIA OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS TO STUDY ASPECTS OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY TREATMENT. THE APPLICANTS WERE CHOSEN THROUGH A RIGOROUS SELECTION PROCESS. THEY PRESENTED THEIR RESULTS THROUGH POSTERS AND PRESENTATIONS. TOTAL AMOUNT GIVEN: $2,300.
TRAINEE-SHIPS: THREE TRAINEE-SHIPS WERE GIVEN TO STUDENTS FROM VARIOUS OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS. THEY DEMONSTRATED NEED FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND COMMITMENT TO SERVE AS OCCUPATIONAL ASSISTANTS. AMOUNTS GIVEN $1,600.
