SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCY THAT PROMOTES AND ADVOCATES FOR THE WELL-BEING AND ADVANCEMENT OF THE CAMBODIAN COMMUNITY. UCC HAS EXPANDED ITS WORK TO INCLUDE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS. THE ECONOMIC PROGRAMS INCLUDE WOMEN'S SMALL BUSINESS CENTER AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FOR ENGLISH LEARNERS.

UCC PROVIDED HEALTH EQUITY, COMMUNITY INTEGRATION, YOUTH ENRICHMENT, AND ECONOMIC INCLUSION PROGRAMS TO THE CAMBODIAN COMMUNITY. THROUGH THE HEALTH EQUITY PROGRAM, UCC PROVIDED CULTURALLY RELEVANT MENTAL HEALTH AND COVID-19 OUTREACH AND EDUCATION. UCC ENROLLED COMMUNITY MEMBERS INTO GOVERNMENT BENEFITS INCLUDING UNEMPLOYMENT AND CALFRESH. UCC PROVIDED HOUSING COUNSELING AND RENTAL ASSISTANCE TO PREVENT HOMELESSNESS. UCC PROVIDED CNA WORKFORCE TRAINING FOR YOUTH. FINALLY, UCC SUPPORTED SMALL BUSINESSES WITH BUSINESS COUNSELING AND MICROGRANTS.
