WORLD HRSA RECEIVED FUNDING TO PROVIDE COVID-19 EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT IN ALAMEDA COUNTY. THE HRSA PROGRAM ENABLED WORLD TO TO PLAY A ROLE IN RESPONDING TO THE COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY. WORLD HOSTED 409 COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS AND ENGAGED 24,673 INDIVIDUALS AOURND GETTING THEIR COVID-19 VACCINATION. THESE EFFORTS RESULTED IN 723 INDIVIDUALS GETTING THEIR INITIALS COVID-19 VACCINATION AND 479 INDIVIDUALS GETTING THEIR COVID-19 BOOSTER VACCINATION.
WORLD RECEIVED FUNDING FROM ALAMEDA COUNTY TO PROVIDE OUTREACH, PREVENTION, HEALTH PROMOTION, EDUCATION AND SOCIAL MARKETING TO ENGAGE AND RECRUIT PRIORITY POPULATIONS TO A VACCINATION POINT OF DISPENSING. WORLD ALSO LINKED 837 PEOPLE TO ESSENTIAL RESOURCES.
