TO RAISE, MANAGE AND DISTRIBUTE FUNDS TO ASSURE THE CONTINUED AVAILABILITY OF QUALITY HEALTH CARE SERVICES AND PROGRAMS THROUGH SKAGIT VALLEY HOSPITAL. THE FOUNDATION WILL FOSTER COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF, AND SUPPORT FOR, SKAGIT VALLEY HOSPITAL THROUGH THE INVOLVEMENT OF THE PEOPLE IT SERVES.

THE SKAGIT VALLEY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION MANAGES AND OVERSEES 33 DEDICATED FUNDS. THE MOST ACTIVE FUNDS CURRENTLY ARE THE CANCER CARE FUND, THE FAMILY BIRTH CENTER FUND AND THE CHILDREN'S THERAPY FUND.IN 2021, THE FOUNDATION GRANTED $64,667 TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AT SKAGIT REGIONAL HEALTH. EXAMPLES OF THESE GRANTS INCLUDE:- $6,083 FOR CLOTHING FOR PATIENTS-IN-NEED WHO ARE DISCHARGED FROM THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT.- $10,932 FOR THE CANCER CARE PATIENT ASSISTANCE FUND.- $5,324 FOR THERAPY SUPPLIES FOR THE CHILDREN'S THERAPY PROGRAM.- $2,882 FOR AN ANESTHESIA CART FOR SURGICAL SERVICES.- $39,446 FOR A NUMBER OF SMALLER GRANTS TO BENEFIT DIFFERENT AREAS OF OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.THE MORE THAN $500,000 RAISED FOR THE FAMILY BIRTH CENTER DURING THE 2021 CAMPAIGN WILL BE GRANTED TO SKAGIT REGIONAL HEALTH IN 2022.
