THE AGENCY CONTRACTS WITH THE COUNTY OF SACRAMENTO TO PROVIDE ALCOHOL PREVENTION SERVICES PRIMARILY THROUGH IT'S TEENS IN ACTION AND FAMILY MATTERS PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS FOCUS ON TRAINING TEENS AND ADULTS ON MODEL PROGRAMS THAT THESE GROUPS CAN UTILIZE WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITY TO OFFER PROGRAMS WITH THE GOAL OF REDUCING UNDERAGE DRINKING. IN ADDITION, THE AGENCY PRODUCES ON- LINE VIDIEOS AND SOCIAL MEDIA MESSAGES DESIGNED TO PREVENT ALCOHOL ABUSE.

DURING 2022/23, THE AGENCY PROGRAMS PROVIDED MODEL PROGRAMS THAT TEENS AND ADULTS CAN UTILIZE WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITY WITH THE GOAL OF REDUCING UNDERAGE DRINKING AND MARIJUANA USAGE. THE AGENCY PARTICIPATED IN SEVERAL HUNDRED TRAININGS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR.
