CHILD CARE PROGRAM: PROVIDES FREE, OR LOW COST QUALITY CHILD CARE. THERE ARE 400 CHILDREN AGES 0 - 12 YEARS, ENROLLED IN THE CHILD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.PART DAY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM: PROVIDES QUALITY FREE SERVICES FOR SCHOOL READINESS TO PREKINDERGARTEN CHILDREN. THERE WERE 180 CHILDREN AGES 3 & 4 YEARS, ENROLLED IN THE PART DAY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM.FULL DAY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM: PROVIDES QUALITY FREE OR LOW COST SERVICES FOR SCHOOL READINESS TO PREKINDERGARTEN CHILDREN. THERE WERE 44 CHILDREN AGES 3 & 4 YEARS, ENROLLED IN THE FULL DAY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM.
FOOD PROGRAM: USDA, CHILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM PROVIDES REIMBURSEMENT FOR NUTRITIOUS MEALS SERVED BY LICENSED CHILD CARE HOME PROVIDERS TO CHILDREN IN CARE. MENUS ARE REQUIRED TO BE APPROVED AND HOMES ARE MONITORED. THERE ARE 4,000 CHILDREN ENROLLED IN THE DAY CARE HOMES NUTRITION PROGRAMS.
