COLLECTORS' FORUMCOLLECTORS' FORUM IS AN ART EXPERIENCE GROUP DEDICATED TO ENCOURAGING THE COLLECTION OF MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART. THROUGH ANNUAL DUES, COLLECTORS' FORUM MEMBERS SUPPORT THE MUSEUM'S GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET. IN APPRECIATION OF THIS SUPPORT, COLLECTORS' FORUM MEMBERS ENJOY PROGRAMS INCLUDING IN-HOME PANEL DISCUSSIONS WITH ART EXPERTS AND THOUGHT LEADERS IN THE INDUSTRY, TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES CENTERED AROUND THE ART MARKET AND ALL ASPECTS OF COLLECTION-BUILDING, AND RECOGNITION AS THE LEAD SPONSOR ON A PROMINENT MUSEUM EXHIBITION EACH YEAR. SECA (SOCIETY FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF CONTEMPORARY ART)SECA IS AN ART EXPERIENCE GROUP WHICH CELEBRATES THE LOCAL ART SCENE AND BUILDS COMMUNITY AMONG CREATIVES AND THE ART-CURIOUS THROUGH MONTHLY EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS. SECA MEMBERS ENJOY TOURS AND TALKS AT LOCAL ARTS ORGANIZATIONS, ARTIST-RUN SPACES, AND MORE. MEMBERS ARE ALSO INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BIENNIAL SECA ART AWARD BY NOMINATING LOCAL ARTISTS FOR THIS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD AND EXHIBITION AT SFMOMA, AND VISITING THE STUDIOS OF FINALISTS TO GAIN INSIGHTS ON THEIR WORK. ARTISTS GALLERY THE SFMOMA ARTISTS GALLERY, LOCATED IN FORT MASON CENTER, HAS BEEN COMMITTED TO PROMOTING CONTEMPORARY ART IN THE BAY AREA FOR MORE THAN 40 YEARS. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NEW AND ESTABLISHED ARTISTS IN THE COMMUNITY, THE GALLERY MAINTAINS AN EXTENSIVE SELECTION OF ARTWORKS FOR RENT AND FOR SALE. THE GALLERY ALSO HELPS SUSTAIN A VIBRANT LOCAL ART SCENE WITH A DYNAMIC, ROTATING EXHIBITION PROGRAM FEATURING NEW WORKS BY THE ARTISTS WE REPRESENT, INCLUDING EDUCATIONAL ARTIST TALKS. THE ART EXHIBITIONS AND ARTIST TALKS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.PROCEEDS FROM ARTISTS GALLERY RENTALS AND SALES SUPPORT ARTISTS IN THE COMMUNITY AS WELL AS SUPPORTING EXHIBITIONS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AT SFMOMA.
