OEN CONNECTS PLAYERS ACROSS OREGON'S INNOVATION COMMUNITY TO HELP LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS SUCCEED.

OEN HOSTED THE OREGON ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARDS AS A THEATRICAL EVENT WITH OVER 380 ATTENDEES WHO GATHERED TO CELEBRATE 200+ NOMINEES, 18 FINALISTS AND 6 WINNERS IN SEVERAL AREAS OF ENTREPRENEURIAL SUCCESS.


OEN AGAIN EXECUTED OREGON ANGEL FOOD, PROVIDING INVESTMENT READINESS EDUCATION AND INTRODUCTIONS TO INVESTORS. 40 ENTREPRENEURS ATTENDED AN 8-WEEK INVESTMENT READINESS CLASS AND WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE OREGON ANGEL FOOD FUND IN 2024. OEN HOSTED 10 PUBTALKS IN PERSON DURING 2023. OVER 700 ATTENDEES RECEIVED AN OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK. ADDITIONALLY, OEN HOSTED 3 ENTREPRENEUR MIXERS FOR STARTUP FOUNDERS ONLY TO NETWORK AND CONNECT. OVER 100 ENTREPRENEURS CONNECTED THROUGH THAT PROGRAM.


OEN EXECUTED ANGEL OREGON BIO IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OHSU, OBI/OTRADI, ONAMI AND THE OREGON BIOSCIENCE ASSOCIATION TO SUPPORT OREGON AND SWW-BASED LIFE AND BIOSCIENCE STARTUPS. THE PRORAM OFFERED INVESTMENT READINESS EDUCATION TO 15 LOCAL LIFE AND BIOSCIENCE FOUNDERS, ANGEL INVESTING EDUCATION TO APPROXIMATELY 20 ANGEL INVESTORS, AND HELPED RAISE AN EQUITY INVESTMENT OF $185,000 AWARDED TO ONE STARTUP, PROMEDIX. ADDITIONAL INVESTMENTS WERE ANNOUNCED AT THE FINALE AND 4 STARTUPS RECEIVED APPROXIMATLY $600,000 IN ANGEL INVESTMENTS.


OEN REINTRODUCED ANGEL OREGON TECH IN 2022. OVER 25 COMPANIES ATTENDED A 4-WEEK INVESTMENT READINESS EDUCATION SERIES, 14 STARTUPS PITCHED TO A LIVE AUDIENCE AND 4 WERE ULTIMATELY FINALISTS FOR THE AOTECH INVESTMENT FUND. A $170,000 ANGEL INVESTMENT WAS MADE IN REMOTELY STUDIOS.
