Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

IN THE 2022-23 FISCAL YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO GO BACK UP TO PRE-COVID OFFERINGS THAT INCLUDED SUCH RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS AS SIT-VOLLEYBALL, KAYAKING, ARCHERY & OUR ADAPTIVE CYCLING SERIES. OUR COMPETITIVE TEAMS ENJOYED FULL OFFERINGS FOR GOALBALL, POWER SOCCER, SWIMMING, WHEELCHAIR RUGBY AND WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL FOR BOTH YOUTH & ADULTS.

WE WERE ABLE TO HOST OUR COMPETITIVE TOURNAMENTS IN BOTH WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL AND GOALBALL AS WELL AS SUPPORT THE WHEELCHAIR RUGBY TOURNAMENT.

ASNW HELD CLINICS AND "TRY IT" EVENTS TO HAVE NEW FOLKS TRY A VARIETY OF OUR SPORT PROGRAM OFFERINGS FOR THE FIRST TIME. SOME INDIVIDUALS HAD NEVER BEEN A PART OF ADAPTIVE SPORTS AND OTHERS, ESPECIALLY SOME OF OUR YOUTH ATHLETES, TRIED OTHER PROGRAM SPORTS. EXAMPLE BEING A YOUTH ALREADY IN OUR SWIM PROGRAM TRIED OUT TRACK & FIELD. WE ALSO HAD WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL PLAYERS TRYING OUT RUGBY AND RUGBY PLAYERS TRYING OUT POWER SOCCER. THIS HAS ALLOWED OUR MEMBERS TO BUILD AN EVEN STRONGER SENSE OF COMMUNITY YEAR AROUND AND NOT JUST IN ONE PROGRAM AREA.
