THE OREGON WHEAT COMMISSION AND THE OREGON WHEAT GROWERS LEAGUE WILL COOPERATE TO ENHANCE THE PROFITABILITY OF OREGON WHEAT GROWERS BY COMMUNICATING WITH AND EDUCATING OURSELVES AND THE PUBLIC; ASSURING MARKETS; AND CONDUCTING AND STIMULATING RESEARCH. WE WILL BE POLITICALLY PROACTIVE AND WORK TO STRENGTHEN OUR ORGANIZATIONS AND OUR INDUSTRY.

PUBLIC INFORMATION:PUBLISH AND DISTRIBUTE A BI-MONTHLY MAGAZINE AND A BI-WEEKLY NEWSLETTER WITH INFORMATION OF USE AND INTEREST TO WHEAT GROWERS. MAINTAIN A WEBSITE TO SERVE AS A CENTRAL INFORMATION RESOURCE ON THE OREGON WHEAT INDUSTRY. MANAGE SOCIAL MEDIA TO REACH GROWERS AND THE PUBLIC WITH INFORMATION RELEVANT TO THE INDUSTRY. MAINTAIN A PUBLIC OUTREACH. EDUCATE AND ADVOCATE ON ISSUES AFFECTING THE WHEAT INDUSTRY.


AG ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIPS - PARTICIPATE IN AND PAY DUES IN OTHER STATE, REGIONAL AND NATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS FURTHERING AGRICULTURAL RELATED ISSUES.


CONVENTION:ORGANIZE AND CONDUCT AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE TO PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR THE ENTIRE OREGON WHEAT INDUSTRY, FROM GROWERS TO EXPORTERS, AND INCLUDES THE MARKETING AND SUPPLY CHAINS.
