THE PURPOSE OF THE LATECOMER INSTITUTE IS TO EDUCATE INDIVIDUALS ON SUBJECTS RELATED TO THE LONG-TERM FUTURE OF HUMANITY FROM A DIVERSE VARIETY OF PERSPECTIVES. THE MAGAZINE CONTENT WILL FOCUS ON THE LONG-TERM FUTURE OF HUMANITY, PRESENTED IN A MANNER TO PROVIDE FACTS AND INFORMATION TO ENABLE THE PUBLIC TO FORM INDEPENDENT OPINIONS OR CONCLUSIONS.

THE LATECOMER MAGAZINE: OUR PRIMARY PROGRAM TO ACHIEVE OUR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE. THE MAGAZINE'S CONTENT WILL FOCUS ON TOPICS RELATED TO HUMANITY'S LONG-TERM FUTURE, SUCH AS RISKS FROM ENGINEERED PATHOGENS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. THE MAGAZINE WILL ALSO EXPLORE THE PHILOSOPHICAL BASES OF LONG-TERM THINKING AND INVESTIGATE ITS EFFECTIVENESS AND VALUE AS A MOVEMENT. THE MAGAZINE INTENDS TO PRESENT ITS CONTENT FAIRLY AND IMPARTIALLY TO ENABLE THE PUBLIC TO FORM AN INDEPENDENT OPINION OR CONCLUSION.
