WE ARE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PROMOTING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, INCREASING PUBLIC AWARENESS, AND PROTECTING AND ENHANCING THE NATURAL AND COLTURAL RESOURCES OF THE RIDGEFIELD NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE AND LOWER COLUMBIA RIVER AREA IN WASHINGTON INCLUDING MANAGEMENT AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS RELATED TO THE CATHLAPOLTE PLANKHOUSE.

CATHLAPOTLE PLANKHOUSE CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL EDUCATION OF THE AREA'S CONNECTION WITH THE NATIVE AMERICAN PEOPLES; FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH GROUPS.


BIRDFEST IS AN EVENT IN WHICH THE ORGANIZATION INVITES THE PUCLIC INTO THE REFUGE IN ORDER TO ACQUAINT THEM, OVER THE COURSE OF A WEEK OF EDUCATION, WITH THE RESTORATION WORK ON THE HABITAT AND SPECIES PRESERVATION WORK AT THE RIDGEFIELD NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE.
