BLUE MOUNTAIN WILDLIFE'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY TREATMENT AND CARE TO ORPHANED, INJURED OR SICK WILDLIFE, PRIMARILY BIRDS OF PREY, TO ENABLE THEM TO RETURN TO THEIR NATURAL HABITAT, AND TO OFFER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS WHICH ENHANCE PEOPLE'S APPRECIATION FOR BOTH WILDLIFE AND A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH WE ALL CAN LIVE.

IN 2021 BLUE MOUNTAIN WILDLIFE ADMITTED 1,646 ANIMALS AND RELEASED 846 BACK TO THE WILD. THE RECORD BREAKING TEMPERATURES IN JUNE AND JULY WERE LARGELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN PATIENTS. BMW CONTINUED TO BE IMPACTED BY COVD-19 SPONSORING JUST 15 PROGRAMS EITHER ON-SITE OR VIA ZOOM WITH 112 ON-SITE PARTICIPANTS.
