FAIRVIEW HOUSING IS A NON-PROFIT WASHINGTON STATE CORPORATION FORMED ON DECEMBER 23, 1996, WHICH HOLDS LEGAL TITLE TO THE PROJECT. THE PROJECT IS A 21-UNIT APARTMENT PROJECT FOR VERY LOW-INCOME ELDERLY PERSONS LOCATED IN WARDEN, WASHINGTON. THE PROJECT WAS DEVELOPED AND IS OPERATED UNDER SECTION 202 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT AND REGULATED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) WITH RESPECT TO RENTAL CHARGES AND OPERATING METHODS. THE PROJECT'S MAJOR HUD PROGRAM IS ITS SECTION 202 CAPITAL ADVANCE AGREEMENT. THE PROJECT'S NON-MAJOR HUD PROGRAM IS ITS SECTION 202 PROJECT RENTAL ASSISTANCE CONTRACT (PRAC).THE PROJECT IS ALSO SUBJECT TO SECTION 202 PROJECT RENTAL ASSISTANCE CONTRACT (PRAC) AGREEMENTS WITH HUD, AND A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF THE PROJECT'S RENTAL INCOME IS RECEIVED FROM HUD.
